My career in art and antiques began in the 1980s. By the mid-1990s, I was working as an auctioneer and specialist in the art department at&nbsp;Phillips Auctioneers, London. Today, I focus on sourcing exceptional pieces of art and design — works that combine integrity, craftsmanship, and visual impact. Each item is selected for its ability to bring character and authenticity to contemporary interiors. Fernand Ouillon-Carrère
Danseuse Aux Lances depicts a naked young woman, her arms outstretched and hair in coiled plaits, dancing between three lance heads at her feet

Signed F Ouillon-Carrère and dated 1919 within the casting
Fernand Ouillon- Carrère (French, early 20th C) created many figural statuettes and figurines in the Art Deco era between 1910-1939.
His most famous and successful work was Danseuse aux Lances, also known as Spear Dancer or Sword Dancer.
Danseuse Aux Lances was exhibited at the 1919 Paris Salon, and a similar version appears in "Art Deco and Other Figures" by Brian Catley.
